YS 591 is a ceramic aluminium oxide belt on X-weight heavy polyester with supersize top coat, built for centreless linishing on stainless tube, bar stock, high-carbon steel, and titanium. X-weight polyester provides greater elongation resistance than Y-weight under continuous centreless grinding tension, which means the belt holds its dimensional geometry — and consistent Ra values — from the first component processed to the last in a batch run.
