YS 595 is a ceramic aluminium oxide belt on heavy Y-weight polyester with semi-open coat, made for Hardwood Flooring sanding where density variation — knots, end grain, adhesive bleed, old finish layers — causes glazing and loading on standard belts. Ceramic grain solves both failure modes: it self-sharpens when it encounters hard knots and sheds debris through the semi-open coat structure before the surface can clog.
